The AI Balancing Act: How to Protect Rigor While Leading Campus-Wide Change

Join academic and technology experts Dr. Michelle Singh and Dr. John Floy as they explore practical strategies to address undetected AI use in courses and implement effective AI adoption and integrity policies.

One of higher education’s biggest concerns about AI is already becoming a reality: students are using it without permission, and that use is going undetected.

In this 30-minute Ed Talk, Dr. Michelle Singh, former Assistant Commissioner for DigitalLearning and chief AI officer at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, shares the framework she developed with institutions across Texas and is now using to guide AI adoption at the University of North Texas. Building on that institutional framework, Honorlock's Dr. John Floyd explains how institutions are maintaining the credibility of assessment as AI rapidly evolves.

Bonus: Attendees who join the live event will be able to participate in a ThoughtExchange workshop to share and rank best practices from their peers.
